How Systems’ Purpose Shapes What They Are:

In exploring systems, we learned that what truly defines them is not their individual parts, but the purpose they serve and the results they generate. A soccer team remains a team even if the players change, just as trees and humans play opposing roles in the oxygen-carbon cycle. Reversing these roles would change their purpose and their very nature, transforming them from what they are into something new.

By modifying the purpose of a system, we transform its essence, just as changing our mindset can transform us. Everything is interconnected, and recognizing these connections helps us understand everything around us from a deeper and more inspiring perspective. It serves as a reflection for understanding what purpose we are giving to our lives and, consequently, what direction we are taking.
